Job Description As an Android Developer at Rappi, you will: Develop and deliver new product features for Android devices Improve engineering processes and tools to enhance team effectiveness Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver value Work closely with QA teams Deploy final versions to Google Play Store Troubleshoot and optimize application performance Evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Measure UI and app performance, focusing on response time and network usage Integrate with external data sources and APIs Requirements Experience developing for Android devices Proficiency with Android components such as Activity, Fragment, Intent, Service, BroadcastReceiver, ContentProvider Experience with Android SDK and third-party libraries Knowledge of REST and JSON for remote data handling Familiarity with UI components from Material Design like Toolbar, RecyclerView, etc. Experience with build tools like Gradle Knowledge of popular libraries such as Retrofit, rxJava, Dagger Understanding of Android architecture patterns like MVVM Proficiency in Kotlin Experience working in Agile methodologies Ability to write unit tests Worker type: Regular Company: Rappi Technology Mexico For more information, visit our website https://about.rappi.com/es and check our reviews on Glassdoor .
