Talent Acquisition (Strategy & Recruiting) includes work across multiple areas of staffing/recruiting including: - Job advertising and posting (e.g., developing job descriptions, posting on internal and external sites, providing specifications to external recruiting agencies, etc.) - Talent prospecting (representing the organization at employment fairs, participating in campus recruiting activities, building sourcing pipelines/networks for targeted talent pools) - Talent staffing and planning (e.g., forecasting future hiring needs, aligning hiring strategy to longer term workforce plans, analysing market trends that impact labour supply & demand, etc.) Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: - Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. - Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. - Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. **Responsibilities** - Develop recruiting and sourcing strategies and techniques for all assigned roles, particularly for hard-to-fill, pivotal positions. This will include direct sourcing, job posting optimisation, agency and 3rd party vendor management, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement and other talent management initiatives - Partner with key stakeholders and HR Business Partners to understand and deliver on Talent Acquisition needs and to support the talent review process in driving external recruitment and internal mobility - Collaborate with global recruitment colleagues to build and implement key Talent Acquisition projects and programs that drive group success - Serve as a leader and role model, providing mentoring and guidance to stakeholders and HR colleagues. - Develop and manage processes for talent bench-marking, talent assessment, and interviewing. - Liaise with the legal department to ensure compliance with local employment laws as appropriate - Act as a Brand Ambassador for Convatec, including developing employment marketing initiatives, branding campaigns, internal referral programmes and university relations **Process and Compliance** - Subject Matter Expert for Applicant Tracking System (Workday Recruitment) and pipelining tool for operational delivery, reporting and compliance needs. Manage regular evaluations of the applicant pool, track and report on time to hire, cost to hire and diversity of hires, to identify trends and cost effectiveness. - Design and implement Hiring, Diversity, Early Careers and recruitment marketing strategies and processes that align with strategic business objectives - Develop TA dashboards and metrics, including weekly, monthly and adhoc reports to track metrics and data analytics to influence decision making - Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment operations, sourcing strategies and 3rd party partners while recommending improvements. - Effectively manage external agencies and vendors, driving performance and capabilities to ensure successful relationships and outcomes. Negotiating with staffing agencies for needed services and best rates and ensure compliance. - Influence development of corporate policy for talent bench-marking, talent assessment, and interviewing policies. Liaise with the legal department to ensure compatibility with employment laws. **Experience** - Trilingual mandatory (Spanish, English and Portuguese - In-depth knowledge and experience of a wide range of sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing methodologies, social media channels and the use of agencies as appropriate - Proven project management, recruiting and stakeholder management experience, able to influence at a senior level, preferably from an in-house background in a matrixed global organisation with varied cultural perspectives - Effective communication, time management and organisational skills - Strong relevant technology experience and capability - Preferred experience in life sciences industry (Medical devices, pharma) - Experience in recruiting in Latin America - At least 5 years of progressive recruitment experience in a high volume recruitment environment (direct) - Knowledge of sourcing techniques using social media and experience using LinkedIn to identify and engage talent. - Strong (and current) knowledge of all laws and regulations pertaining to employment and equal opportunity. - Manages effectively in a results driven environment - Outstanding written and verbal communications skills - Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments and excel in a high volume demanding environment - Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management and external resources - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and applicants **Beware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent Convatec** **Equal opportunities
