Technical Sales Representative The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving technical sales by leveraging their engineering expertise to support customers throughout the pre-sales and post-sales process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong technical foundation, and the ability to act as a bridge between the sales, engineering, and customer teams. Location: Colombia Responsibilities: Provide technical sales support to customers in LATAM, helping to present, explain, and tailor Arctech’s products to meet specific project needs and requirements. Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the advantages of Arctech’s solutions, including trackers and fixed structures. Collaborate closely with the sales and engineering teams to identify business opportunities, address customer queries, resolve technical challenges, and ensure alignment between client requirements and Arctech’s product offerings. Actively participate in client meetings, pre-sales meetings, site visits, and technical discussions to understand customer expectations and constraints, providing insights to enhance the sales strategy. Analyze customer project specifications to propose optimal product configurations and solutions, including foundational and structural recommendations. Conduct competitive analysis, gathering market intelligence on competing products and customer needs to support strategic positioning and value proposition refinement. Support customers with technical documentation, including calculation reports, design details, and application notes, ensuring a clear understanding of product capabilities. Provide consistent technical and engineering follow-up, acting as a communication bridge between the LATAM team and HQ in China. Assist with cost estimations and pricing strategies by integrating technical knowledge and project insights. Offer on-site support for specific tasks as needed, ensuring seamless project execution. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Strong technical sales acumen, with a proven ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions effectively. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. Experience with Solar PV projects, including familiarity with tracker systems, fixed structures, and foundation design. 2+ years of experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles within the renewable energy, solar PV, or related industries. Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, PV Syst, and Civil 3D. Solid understanding of international design codes, wind load requirements, and structural analysis. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
