Job Description Procurement Role The Procurement Specialist will play a vital role in managing the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor management, contract negotiation, sourcing, and purchasing. - Vendor Management: Establish relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure favorable terms for the company. - Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with vendors, ensuring contract terms meet the company's needs and deliver value. - Sourcing and Purchasing: Manage the procurement process from quote requests to purchase order issuance. - Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and industry best practices. - Budget and Cost Control: Monitor and optimize procurement spending, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines. - Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery process, ensuring goods and services are received on time and meet quality standards. - Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (finance, operations, etc.) to understand their procurement needs and provide tailored support. - Reporting: Maintain detailed records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance, and generate reports as needed.
