Job summary The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and highly strategical individual to take up the role of Regional Protection Information Management Systems Coordinator for Latin America who will lead the implementation and maintenance of NRC's regional protection information management System. The IMS Coordinator will support the implementation and rollout of NRC's Protection IMS strategy across the region. This role will ensure that robust systems, protocols, and standards are in place and aligned with global protection information management standards and NRC's internal guidelines, to which she/he will contribute through using existing platforms and tools, and by developing new digital solutions and rolling them out. The IMS Coordinator will contribute to the effective rollout of the regional protection information management system through implementation of data management methodologies, operational tools, technical guidance, and processes for data analysis and visualization. The IMS Coordinator will support the production of regular and high-quality protection information management products, including dashboards, infographics and reports based on primary and secondary data sources. The IMS Coordinator will act as a Regional Information Management (IM)/data focal point for regional protection monitoring initiatives. The IMS Coordinator will work closely with internal and partners' programme teams to ensure smooth function of the IM system.
