We are in search of a Senior Transportation Planner to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to participate in various transportation planning, balanced mobility and low and zero emission projects! You will be an integral part of a highly collaborative international team, working on both national and international projects and interacting with professionals from all over the world! **Responsibilities** - Own the planning, development of transportation infrastructure projects including: Multimodal Transportation Plans and Master Plans, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies Transportation & Land Use Studies, Transit Planning & Operations Analysis, Traffic Engineering analyses, Traffic and Pedestrian Simulation Modeling and Travel Demand Forecasting. - Serve as Project Manager for the day-to-day client liaison for specific projects within tight time and budget constraints. - Working in partnership with other teams leading and supporting analytical studies and large projects where policy, urban planning, energy, sustainability and resilience, is a needed component. - Conduct research and analysis both for project formulation and development. - Support and lead project presentations, graphic materials and coordination and project management activities both within the urban team and the broader office. - Assist, supervise, and mentor team members and deliver timely feedback and recognition to others. **Minimum Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, Economics, Environmental Engineering. - Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in transport planning, planning and public policy, with significant project management experience required. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for team-based work and presentations in English and Spanish. - Knowledge of Colombia´s urban and regional transportation context, development, public policy, planning and institutional sectors as well as international practices in these areas. - A strong capability for spreadsheet-bases analyses is required along with experience with one or more of the following areas: Traffic capacity analysis, micro simulation, economic appraisal and demand forecasting. - Experience with ArcGIS or QGIS, and transport modeling, as well as familiarity with socioeconomic and quantitative analysis. - Strong research, analytical and project management capabilities, outstanding sense of teamwork and responsibility, achievement and autonomy. **This role is based in Bogotá, Colombia.
