The incumbent in this role will be required to have a presence within office days. What You’ll Do: Onboarding •Assist the Global Operations team by creating and maintaining onboarding documents •Ensure new hires are set up for first day activities, have access to office space, and have training schedules •Responsible for the employee experience and creating sense of belonging with all new employees HR ·Provide advice for all HR-related matters, including for internal employees and consultants ·Maintain systems with respect to all employees ·Administration of any internal moves and parental leave ·Responsible for absence and holiday management ·Manage the offboarding process, including paperwork and exit surveys, and monitor trends to suggest improvements ·Create and administer performance management and performance improvement programs ·Create and maintain all HR policies, staying up to date with local legislation ·Drive development and implementation of key company policies and training for employees ·Develop strong relationships with all employees and leaders across IG through the creation and enhancement of policies, procedures and programs that will drive growth and development, empowering our people with a confident reassurance that they are being taken care of ·Anticipate and track operational risks and roadblocks and provide proactive strategic solutions ·Support in the development of our HR strategy Payroll & Benefits ·Assist with escalations and provide in-country support for payroll, pension and benefit queries ·Assist with the full payroll cycle and work with the Global Payroll team to ensure a timely, compliant and smooth payout for all employees ·Responsible for benefit administration ·Ongoing review and management for the payroll and benefits provision including systems, processes and allowances ·Support in the development of payroll and benefits strategy Labor Compliance ·Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records and representing the organization at hearings ·Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending HR policies and procedures ·Maintain up to date training and other labor compliance activities and policies, and manage these programs accordingly General ·Help to craft, provide feedback and drive local and overall business communications ·Build and manage a team of various operational functions ·Manage existing 3rd party provider relationships and the implementation of any future vendors as needed ·All other job duties as assigned What You’ll Need to Succeed: •Deep understanding of local HR regulations with regards to taxation, sick leave, maternity leave, etc. •Expertise setting up and running governance, risk, and HR compliance processes at scale •Proven ability to act as a strategic business partner •Highly organized and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines •Excellent English (written and verbal) communication, with heightened attention to detail •People oriented with a bias for action •Creative, responsive and innovative •Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of efficiency, integrity and with complete discretion due to the nature of the work •Proven ability to act as the subject matter expert and make informed decisions •Outstanding leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills •Live our values of “Everyone Matters,” “We Tale Care of Each Other,” “Leadership is Here to Serve,” “High Character and Hard Work Above All Else,” and “Always Know Where You Stand” •Prior experience in the staffing industry considered an asset •Must be willing and able to travel to US HQ or other locations as required •This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely but when an office has been established, will be required to be in office 4 days/week Must Haves: •Minimum 5 years progressive experience in an HR Business Partner of HR Manager role •Strong knowledge of COE functions like Talent Management, Performance Management, Benefits, and Payroll #J-18808-Ljbffr
