Key Responsibilities Perform month-end closing, corrections, and in-depth analysis to ensure the accuracy of financial statements (e.g., accruals, provisions, settlement files). Lead a team of specialist accountants to achieve departmental goals. Ensure correct revaluation of balance sheet accounts across all companies within your area of responsibility. Monitor system interfaces, review, and explain variances in IT systems (e.g., SAP, OMNI). Manage review of general ledger account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues during monthly closes. Document accounting and reporting procedures within your area of responsibility. Identify, support, and implement process improvements and harmonization efforts focusing on continuous improvement. Support local, regional, and global projects with financial expertise. Ensure accurate and timely reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual), including audits. Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls. Manage, train, and develop team members for current and future responsibilities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of complex accounting issues, with quick problem-solving skills and collaboration across teams. Adaptability and flexibility to manage ambiguity in a dynamic environment. Ability to mediate and align stakeholders with different objectives to reach consensus. Results-oriented with high responsibility and accountability. Proactive, self-motivated, with high integrity and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and IT skills, with effective time management. Strong accounting skills are essential. Minimum Qualifications Over 5 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance. Fluent in written and spoken English. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. SAP experience preferred.
