Customer Name Screening Continuous Improvement and Governance Manager | S3 | Financial Crime CoE | National Milton Keynes, United Kingdom **WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING** **Join our community.** Do you have proven experience in data analytics? Have you lead projects within financial crime? As we grow our transaction and payments screening function, we’re looking for experienced, continuity improvement and governance managers to join our team. You’ll report directly into the Name Screening Product Lead, and you’ll work alongside colleagues and teams across the Financial Crime Centre of Excellence (FC CoE) and Santander UK (Business Units, Line 2 FC, Technology and Operations). You’ll be responsible for maintaining and managing a 4E (Efficient, Economic, Effective and Ethical) Name Screening Product in line with financial crime risk appetite. You’ll manage the continuous improvement process for Named Screening and Transaction Screening models and end to end processes by identifying opportunities and innovative solutions to enhance Name and Transaction screening models to increase effectiveness and efficiency, including ongoing review of model effectiveness. **The difference you’ll make.** - Managing continuous improvement initiatives (proposals and inflight) for end to end cycle of NS (data, engine, case management, controls, MI etc) - Assisting the build and implementation of financial crime governance and reporting frameworks in place across FC CoE Executing of model updates and model maintenance, including relevant governance forums and process. - Providing ongoing coaching and allocation of stretch objectives developing high performing teams Liaising with analytics for all analytical requirements and deliverables - Builds and maintains credibility and effective working relationships across all levels and businesses within the Company - Anticipating potential issues and proactively reviews processes to minimise impact - Manages projects which includes the inception of projects, planning and progressing activity to meet required timescales, assessing risk, managing resources, and communicating with all stakeholders, internal and external **What you’ll bring.** - You’ll have experience and knowledge of retail banking or corporate banding and associated products with an awareness of the risks associated with retail banking, or knowledge of correspondent banding, trade finance, complex corporate structures, MSBs/PSPs. - You’ll have proven screening systems implementation and/or change experience **It would also be nice for you to have.** - Ability to assimilate and analyse complex information - Encourages and supports others to take initiatives and calculated risks. - Exceptional organisational skills and experience of delivering excellent customer service - The ability to work collaboratively with others, openly exchanging information **What else you need to know.** Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
