As our company grows, we are looking for the brightest minds across multiple disciplines to join our teams, which have historically been located mainly in the US, UK, and Israel. **Important Note: Establishing a Nearshore Hub in Colombia** We are looking to start a nearshore team in Colombia and this role will be the first member of it. Therefore, we’re looking for someone who is excited to be the first local member of the team and provide us with leadership presence and insights! When we are comfortable that this role is a success, we plan to hire two additional headcount in Colombia, one of which you may be hiring and managing. **The role** We are looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team. From performing initial technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations to developing team-wide best practices, you will be a key member of our growing Solutions Engineering organization. In this role you will: - Engage with customers and potential customers to identify challenges, using insightful questions and a genuine curiosity to clearly convey the value proposition that Rivery offers to their organization. - Work closely with Account Executives from a technical and consultative role throughout the sales process. This includes but is not limited to product demonstrations, technical evaluation and journey of value. - Contribute to product development, pulling from your combined knowledge of data operations development, software skills, and deep understanding of customer needs and data from implementations. Required skills: - 3+ years experience in Sales Engineering or other client-facing technical roles such as consulting. - At least one year of experience working in a SaaS B2B Data related company. - Experience using Cloud Data Warehouses. - Experience writing SQL and a strong understanding of ELT concepts and best practices. - Experience building and operating data pipelines in the cloud. - Ability to explain technical concepts and features to a non-technical audience. - Ability to work independently and team collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Advantages: - Previous experience with ETL processes and platforms, and BI reporting tools. - Experience working with APIs, via tools such as Postman or coding languages such as Python.
