Job Description: The role of Associate Systems Administrator is to provide systems administration to core corporate IT server platforms, network and applications. The incumbent will operate in complex, highly secure and available operations environments and interact with technology domain experts to maintain those environments. The candidate will be responsible for performing system/server security remediation, ensuring that the system and application are up-to-date with patches and conform to security standards. They must have a strong commitment to execution, follow through and timely communication. - Execute decisive action to preserve and maintain service availability, performance, integrity, capacity and security - Monitor incident queues, troubleshoot issues and lead conference calls with other groups to mitigate impacts The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering teams across various platforms to translate application requirements into system requirements. Good problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting issues in complex production environments are essential. Required Skills and Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - 6+ months of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications: - 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree - Minimum CCNP or similar vendor certification required - Experience and in-depth knowledge with network and Windows system administration activities Benefits: This is a hybrid position.
