Reporting into our lead for business analysis and working closely with our dedicated Digital team, the Business Analyst role has a wide-ranging mandate to improve delivery, look at new products, design digital initiatives and drive future strategy with a unique opportunity to influence direction and deliver great results. You will be liaising with global teams, internal and external clients and users to elicit and document business requirements for defects, enhancements and features. To be successful in this position you will have the following capabilities: **Skills and experience**: - Agile project experience - Extensive experience gathering complex requirements, documentation, analysis and validation - End customer experience would be highly advantageous - Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage up and down - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills **The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to**: - Hands on experience working in agile environment and experience in Digital delivery in a matrix environment - Experience in gathering, defining requirements and the creation of all related documentation (user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria using BDD format) - Knowledge of Agile principles, Lean principles, Kanban, Confluence, JIRA - Ability to communicate effectively and influence your team and stakeholders - Digital practices/ideas to bring to the table and not be afraid of challenging the status quo - A good understanding of UX/ Design thinking is desirable - Business acumen and strong presentation skills. - A creative and innovative mindset and dynamic nature. - Work with regional Digital Delivery Leads, Solution Architects and Product Owners to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting and implementing/updating solutions - Actively participate in the discussions on deliverables, estimates and commitments and develop using latest technologies while following Agile methodologies (SAFe and SCRUM) - Write and/or review functional and technical requirements specifications for the implementation **Desired technologies knowledge** - Web service programming methods (RESTful Web services and Service Oriented Architecture) - Unit testing tools - Bug/work control, source control, and deployment technologies (Git, Grunt, Bamboo/Jenkins) - Agile project management methods and tools (SAFe, SCRUM, JIRA, Confluence) **Abilities**: - Local market understanding of end customer behaviours and cultural differences. - Language and written skills to match local market and workforce environments. - Ability to understand business functions to analyse and propose technical strategies for the business - Takes personal responsibility for personal growth, acquires strategies for gaining new knowledge, behaviours and skills - Ability to breakdown raw information and undefined problems into specific, workable components that in-turn clearly identifies the issues at hand - Expresses technical and business concepts, ideas, feelings, opinions, and conclusions orally and in writing - Anticipates, identifies and defines problems, seeks root causes and develops practical and timely solutions
