Join us today and experience Life at Visa. **Job Description**: Key Responsibilities - Patch and maintain servers to ensure optimal performance and security. - Utilize SQL to manage and manipulate databases. - Create, execute, and optimize SQL queries to extract necessary data. - Generate detailed and accurate reports based on extracted data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions. - Monitor and analyze system performance and provide regular reports. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the production environment. - Ensure site reliability by proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues and system bottlenecks. - Ensure adherence to data management regulations and best practices. - Generate detailed and accurate reports based on extracted data, providing valuable insights that will inform strategic decisions. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions, fostering a culture of cooperation and mutual support. - Monitor and analyze system performance on an ongoing basis, providing regular reports that will help to keep stakeholders informed about the system's status. - Troubleshoot and promptly resolve any issues related to the production environment, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless business operations. - Ensure site reliability by proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues and system bottlenecks, thereby maintaining high standards of performance and reliability. - Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, promoting a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. **Qualifications** Basic Qualification 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) Bachelor Degree with 6 years of experience or Master Degree with 2 years of experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Demonstrable experience as a Production Support Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Database Administrator, or a similar role, showcasing your ability to handle the demands of this position. Strong knowledge of SQL and database management. Experience with server patching and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
