Your Responsibilities Will Include: - Lead and support the planning, design, and execution of CCUS projects, including CO₂ capture, transport, utilization, and storage. - Conduct technical reviews of existing systems to identify optimization opportunities and implement continuous improvements. - Collaborate with operations teams to deliver tailored engineering solutions that meet performance and sustainability goals. - Guide the development of internal CCUS standards, practices, and design guidelines. - Perform simulations using process modeling tools such as HYSYS, assessing feasibility and performance of CCUS applications. - Deliver technical presentations to global expert audiences and publish peer-reviewed papers. - Mentor junior engineers and deliver internal training to build organizational capability. - Act as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders, offering real-time support and insights. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree preferred). - 20+ years of experience in the CCS value chain, with hands-on involvement in CO₂ storage projects. - Deep understanding of capture technologies (chemical absorption, physical separation), CO₂ transport, and storage in saline formations or depleted reservoirs. - Proven knowledge of CCUS economics, cost components across the value chain, and policy frameworks (e.g. carbon tax, cap-and-trade, carbon pricing). - Experience working with international CCS projects and familiarity with applicable regulatory landscapes. - Skilled in cross-cultural collaboration and building consensus within diverse engineering environments.
