Data Governance Senior Manager will lead and manage all organization-wide finance master data governance activities, managing the protection of sensitive data and information assets and will support Data quality manager in improving the quality. The position will focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data policies, standards, and practices, both at the department and business and functional areas level, to achieve the required level of consistency, quality, and protection to meet overall business needs. **Responsibilities** - Provide thought leadership and participate in developing control structures within a simple environment to ensure the accuracy of data through all upstream and downstream data channels - Roll out an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture - Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal information assets - Serve as a liaison between Business / Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated, and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning - Develop & maintain inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems, owners - Support in the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise - Lead Senior Management, comprising resources from the Business and Functional areas and IT business and operations functions, to achieve their objectives; resolve issues escalated from Business and Functional areas data governance representatives - In conjunction with the IT, provide progress reports to Board management and oversee periodic updates to the Data Governance Roadmap - Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners and IT - Identify new business opportunities pertaining to the use of information assets to achieve efficiency & effectiveness and represent data as a strategic business asset at the Senior Management table **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or related field - A minimum of 7+ years of experience in finance master data governance or in related field - Strong understanding of SAP Finance structures and processes - Strong analytical and time management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Intermediate facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure - Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with mínimal supervision or questions - Ability to deliver a high level of customer service - Ability to write various documents such as functional requirements - Ability to compare technologies and make recommendations to senior members of the team - Understanding of data privacy laws and regulations - Basic level proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) - Intermediate level proficiency with VBA - Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, and Outlook **Preferred Qualifications** - 1+ years SQL and VBA experience - 1+ years financial servic
