Job Title: Data Engineer with Power BI Expertise Job Description: Our team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Data Fabric, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. As a hybrid role, this position combines data engineering and business intelligence to deliver insightful dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, cube modeling, and DAX expressions. They should be able to collaborate with business teams to design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and architectures. The selected individual will implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to convert raw data into usable formats, integrate data from multiple sources, transform data using tools like SQL, PySpark, and Power Query, and develop and manage analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and architectures to collect, process, and store data from various sources using Azure Data Factory. - Create and manage data warehouses to ensure data is organized, accessible, and secure. - Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to convert raw data into usable formats. - Integrate data from multiple sources to provide a unified view for analysis. - Transform data using tools like SQL, PySpark, and Power Query. - Implement and manage analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, which integrates Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics. - Develop and manage cubes using tools like Azure Analysis Services or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). - Create and optimize data models for analytical reporting. - Write complex DAX expressions to support business metrics and KPIs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across systems. - Continuously improve data architecture to support evolving business needs. Qualifications: Required Skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Data Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. - Proficiency in English (B2–C1 level). - 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI dashboard/report development, with strong DAX skills. - Experience in data engineering, including data pipeline creation and management. - Strong experience with cube design and implementation (Azure Analysis Services or SSAS). - Familiarity with data governance, ETL processes, and relational/non-relational databases. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
