Join us and let’s get started. **Job Description**: AECOM Colombia seeks an experienced and proven Environmental Project Manager to support our growing backlog of projects. **Primary job functions include**: - Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following: - Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR, - Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR, - Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc. - Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out). - Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals. - Manages other Project Managers. Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: + Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management + Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects + Leads teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices + Utilizes existing technologies and past experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems + Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and national regulations to ensure compliance + Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking + Performs work with mínimal direction with periodic reporting to area manager + Oversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies + Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team + Supervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work + Conducts reviews and provides staff feedback for continued improvement + Interest in business development + Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication, both verbal and written skills + Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for a wide variety of audiences **Qualifications**: + BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Project Management training or Project Management Professional credential + Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related degree + Due to the nature of the work Colombia Citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications + Professional License + Bilingüe (Spanish and English) + 10+ years’ experience in Environmental Base line / Impact Assessments, social services, HSE, International Standards, + Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations in Colombia + Experience successfully managing environmental projects for private and public Clients.
