Located in our Columbia, MO plant, you will be a maintenance technician. Your responsibilities include: Managing the installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment Performing regular preventative maintenance on current machines Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns Installing new equipment About The Job Reading and interpreting blueprints Conducting routine preventative maintenance and safety checks Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, and other production-related equipment Fabricating parts for repair and machine upgrades Installing new equipment Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area Preparing and submitting maintenance reports Other duties as assigned About You Two-year technical degree (mechatronics curriculum preferred) or equivalent experience required Experience troubleshooting and repairing or installing industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems required Ability to use programmable logic controller systems (primarily Allen Bradley) such as RSLogix Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints Experience with electrical and hydraulic test equipment Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel Ability to work overtime Self-directed with the ability to work in a team environment Must have reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance, with flexibility for shifts, overtime, and weekends Compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures Why GATES?
