Key Responsibilities: - Case Management: Assist experienced removal defense experts in managing asylum cases, ensuring compliance with immigration laws, and supporting clients throughout the removal proceedings process. - Documentation and Research: Create and file various motions, applications, and other documentation, while maintaining accurate records and conducting efficient legal research. - Client Communication: Provide clear and understandable explanations of processes and requirements to clients, maintain regular communication to update them on their cases, and ensure confidentiality of client information. Required Qualifications: - Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related field. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research, case management software, Microsoft Office, and Google Office (sheets, etc). - Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, empathy when working with clients, and knowledge of immigration law, specifically Asylum (preferred).
