About the role Atlas Health is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer who will serve as a quality champion within our engineering teams. This role is responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards through manual and automated testing, test strategy development, and process improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to integrate best testing practices and improve overall product quality. This is a full-time remote position, and candidates must be available to work U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. What you'll do Work with engineering teams to develop product test strategies, create, and execute test plans, and proactively identify risks Perform manual and automated QA testing, including end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing Automate test cases and workflows using Cypress Identify and implement opportunities to improve the QA process and testing methodologies Educate and collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams on testing strategies and best practices Develop and maintain relationships with partner teams to align on integration efforts and dependencies Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and partner with engineering teams to resolve defects Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools Partner with engineering to triage internal & external bug reports and reproduce reported issues Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and software testing best practices Work with Kubernetes (preferred but not required) Other duties as assigned Qualifications BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Physics, Mathematics) OR equivalent technical experience Professional Experience Requirements: 2+ years of industry experience in Quality Assurance Expertise in manual and automated web testing Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or WebDriver Proven technical expertise, such as programming experience or relevant academic coursework Proficiency in API testing using Postman or similar tools Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies Very strong QA project leadership experience and ability to work across multiple teams Dedication to quality and process improvement, with a positive, collaborative attitude Comfortable working in a dynamic, low-structure, constantly evolving environment and prioritizing tasks effectively Outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to articulate goals and work collaboratively to achieve them Proficiency in the English language for effective communication in a remote team setting Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into development workflows Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications Understanding of networking concepts and web applications Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments This is considered a Contractor position not to exceed 40 hours/week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
