We are looking for a Valves & Pumps - Technical Sales Support. The V&P sales engineer manages the assigned resources to meet customers’ needs while promoting sales of all assigned valves, pumps, and cleaning technology products. S/he reports to the SFT Head of Sales and is responsible for new machines and service sales within the assigned product group or application cluster in the country, including revenue responsibility for €1 million. The main goal is to detail and implement the cluster sales strategy, perform sales planning/forecasting, develop the product portfolio (in close cooperation with the V&P Sales Steering Manager), and drive revenues through proficient management of the different routes to market that each market may require. Special focus on new machines and spare parts delivery, meeting customer needs, and promoting the 'GEA' vision - a coordinated approach to sales across the entire organization. S/he is encouraged to think innovatively and embrace modern product development theories. Minimum Qualifications: University degree in one of the main engineering fields (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical preferred). Minimum of 5 years relevant sales/customer service experience. Advanced understanding of the food and beverage business, customer relationship management, and market development. Comprehensive market knowledge, including potential, competitors, and the competitive environment. Proactive, self-driven, resilient, sales-oriented, with strong business acumen. Strong capital equipment or service sales experience in liquid management technologies. Knowledge of GEA portfolio, local market requirements, and customer groups.
