The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading engineering efforts in Colombia and act as a technical bridge between Colombia and USA. Key Responsibilities - Lead backend design and development of enterprise SaaS products - Mentor backend developers and establish coding best practices - Ensure adherence to Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns - Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment - Manage RESTful APIs lifecycle with a focus on security and scalability - Guide backend integration with AWS services and automation - Conduct code reviews, resolve complex engineering challenges, and drive technical excellence Must-Have Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - 10+ years of backend development experience in enterprise SaaS environments - Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js, with clean and modular architecture - Advanced experience with MS SQL Server and MongoDB - Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile, and tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence - Deep understanding of authentication protocols and secure development - Proven leadership in engineering teams or complex technical initiatives - Fluency in English (written and spoken) Nice-To-Have Qualifications: - Familiarity with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Microsoft web frameworks - Experience with AWS services like EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, SQS, SES - Docker and infrastructure automation knowledge #J-18808-Ljbffr
