Technical account manager for cloud - latam Technical account manager for cloud - latam Vence 20 Ago 2025 Job Title: Technical Account Manager for Cloud – LATAM Location: Bogotá, Colombia (On-site) About the Role We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to provide high-impact technical support and strategic customer engagement across our LATAM enterprise accounts. You will serve as the main technical liaison, ensuring solution quality, customer satisfaction, and alignment between technical services and business goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Provide end-to-end technical assurance and support for customer issues, including fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and solution implementation across products such as networking, compute, storage, and databases. - Lead technical exchanges, define issue boundaries, and deliver clear remediation plans and drill scenarios. 2. Strategic Customer Engagement - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including product, pre-sales, operations, and service delivery to implement tailored support plans and resolve customer pain points. - Identify customer risks (e.g., declining cloud usage) and take proactive steps with internal teams to mitigate impact and stabilize consumption. 3. Service Optimization & Communication - Deliver best practice recommendations based on client usage patterns, and promote service enhancements that align with customer business objectives. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including technical users and senior executives, ensuring alignment and customer confidence. Requirements Education & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Technical Skills - Previous experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly preferred. - Proven track record managing large-scale, complex, cross-departmental projects. - Proficient in cloud infrastructure, with hands-on knowledge of: - Operating systems, middleware, and core enterprise platforms (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM). - Networking and infrastructure components (e.g., DNS, LDAP, Active Directory). - General IT and data center technologies. - At least one recognized cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). - Background in software development or systems integration is a strong asset. - Minimum 3 years of technical work experience in cloud computing or IT service management Soft Skills - Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written. - Strong communication and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences. - High sense of responsibility and customer-first mindset, with a proven ability to drive client satisfaction. - Excellent organization, planning, and collaboration abilities. - Willingness to travel regionally as required.
