Energy Efficiency Engineer We are seeking a skilled Energy Efficiency Engineer to join our team. As an Energy Efficiency Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the energy performance of buildings. You will utilize energy modeling software and advanced engineering techniques to assess various design options and make recommendations for improving energy efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or architectural engineering, with experience in energy modeling and analysis. Proficiency in eQuest and other energy modeling software is required. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a shared passion for operational and embodied decarbonization of buildings and the built environment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct energy modeling and analysis for new and existing buildings to evaluate their energy performance - Utilize energy modeling software and tools to simulate building energy consumption and identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate energy-efficient design strategies into building projects - Perform calculations and engineering analysis to optimize building systems and components - Develop energy efficiency measures and provide recommendations to enhance sustainability Requirements: - BS Degree in Mechanical/Architectural Engineering or related field - Proficient with eQuest - Experience with energy modeling following ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G for code-compliance, LEED and/or utility incentives - Familiarity with mechanical systems for healthcare, life science and higher education buildings - Excellent organizational and communication skills - A shared passion for operational and embodied decarbonization of buildings and the built environment Benefits: - Work From Home - Highly Competitive Compensation - Flexible Schedule
