**Job Opportunity for Offshore Watch Engineer DP** We are seeking an experienced offshore watch engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and operating engine room mechanical equipment and propulsion systems on large vessels. Responsibilities include safe watch keeping, control, and maintenance of engine room mechanical equipment and propulsion equipment, as well as routine documentation. - Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of engine room mechanical equipment and propulsion systems. - Maintain accurate records as required by applicable regulations. - Act as MS (maintenance supervisor) or BOX (ballast control operator) as defined in IMO resolution A. 1079 (28). Key tasks include reporting to senior engineers, being familiar with company requirements, and ensuring workspace activities are carried out safely and efficiently. - Report to 2nd Engineer DP. - Familiarize yourself with company policies and procedures. - Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently. - Perform duties within the vessel emergency team as indicated in Emergency Preparedness Manual. - Intervene and report any unsafe acts, conditions, near misses, incidents/accidents. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3-4 years of experience on large vessels such as pipe layers, heavy lift, multiple use vessels with DP2/DP3 systems. Required skills and qualifications include STCW certificates, National CoC Reg. III/1, and endorsement, as well as completion of training and certifications described in the Training Matrix.
