Our developersdesign, build, and release software products in multipleprogramming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Alwayscollaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developersare adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset. ADevelopment Consultant understands the technical landscape of ITprojects, comprehends the business context and goals, and usestheir experience to develop optimal solutions, including technologyand design choices. They support the project manager in planningsoftware delivery, articulate the vision to both technical andnon-technical stakeholders, and work directly with customers todefine solutions. Responsibilities: 1. Leda a cross-functional teamof Frontend, Backend/API, and Quality Assurance engineers todeliver against teams' objectives and milestones; 2. Activelyparticipate in the full software development lifecycle fromideation and planning through to development, testing, customerfeedback and further iterations; 3. Drive improvements across thewhole stack; 4. Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers,Data Scientists to expose data through the web application; 5. Build and maintain our backend tech stack of Python, Airflow,PostgreSQL, Kafka; 6. Provide architectural and design direction,control technical debt, promote collaboration and engagement in theproduct team; 7. Work closely with other Engineering Managers oncross-team topics such as continuous deployment, improving ourtesting and monitoring, front-end user logging, etc. Qualifications1. 10 or more years of software development experience, with atleast 4 years in leadership roles; 2. Bachelor’s or master’s,preferably in computer science or related field; 3. Strong agilemindset, able to iterate fast and give early feedback; 4. On top oftechnical abilities, excellent leadership, decision making andstrong communication skills in verbal and written English; 5. Deepknowledge of Python (3.5 and later); 6. Knowledge of modernfront-end technologies and web development fundamentals; 7. Experience developing public APIs with OpenAPI specifications andservice-level contracts; 8. Experience working with map andlocation libraries (eg. Mapbox); 9. Experience with coaching,mentoring and growing team members; 10. Deep knowledge of testingat all levels, from unit testing to end-to-end.
