Position: SCADA Controls Engineer Diamond Foundry seeks a talented SCADA Controls Engineer to design, develop, implement, commission, maintain, and optimize Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and industrial control systems (ICS), including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of control system principles, communication protocols, and cybersecurity within industrial settings. Responsibilities 1. SCADA Design and Development: Design, develop, and commission SCADA architectures, including HMIs, communication networks, data historians, and reporting systems, with experience in Siemens and Ignition software. 2. Control System Implementation and Integration: Implement and integrate PLCs, RTUs, and control hardware into SCADA systems, configure communication protocols, and develop control logic. 3. System Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, backups, disaster recovery testing, updates, and failure diagnosis for control systems. 4. Data Management, Analysis, and Cybersecurity: Manage data historians, visualize KPIs, implement cybersecurity measures, conduct security assessments, and enforce policies. 5. Collaboration, Communication, and Compliance: Collaborate with teams, communicate system status, and ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and policies. Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field, with 4+ years of experience in SCADA and industrial control systems. 2. Proficiency in SCADA platforms such as Siemens WinCC OA/TIA Portal or Ignition; knowledge of PLC programming languages like Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, or Structured Text. 3. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols including Modbus TCP/RTU and Ethernet/IP. 4. Fluency in English.
