**Key responsibilities**: - Overall responsibility for originating and managing country/ies investment portfolio of green and sustainable debt investments with financial institutions and potentially corporates, including capital markets transactions (bonds) - Driving the business development efforts to ensure a suitable mix of key metrics: impact, risk, return; in light of market developments in Latin America - Active contribution to the development of the investment portfolio by building and developing a strong pipeline of investment opportunities - Leading all aspects of the investment cycle from identification of potential investees, conducting on-site due diligence, structuring investment proposal, to presenting to an investment committee, and monitoring of the outstanding portfolio - Leading legal and commercial discussions with potential investees, from formulating and drafting initial terms and conditions to supporting the negotiation of complex legal agreements - Preparing internal and external reporting to evaluate and monitor individual transactions and investment portfolio - Identifying technical assistance needs for potential investees or market participants, in coordination with the technical assistance team - Preparing annual business plans, aligned with the investment strategy - Participating in targeted policy dialogue with relevant stakeholders in the region - Representing and positioning FiM, including participation in conferences, workshops, etc. - Leading a part of regional investment team **What we expect**: - Undergraduate studies in economics, business administration, finance, or a related field with a relevant master’s degree or equivalent (i.e. CFA) - Extensive relevant work experience in lending to financial institutions; experience in lending to corporates, including agribusinesses, is a plus - Ample regional business network and strong client relationship management skills - Knowledgeable of the evolving sustainable finance landscape in relevant markets and sustainable finance initiatives (e.g. SFDR, EU Taxonomy, TCFD Framework, alignment to the Paris Agreement for the financial sector) - Strong analytical skills in finance and credit analysis with solid understanding of accounting standards - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (all responsibilities are conducted fully in English) and fluent Spanish, Portuguese is a plus - Strong presentation skills enhanced by intercultural sensitivities - Goal oriented, team player, and fully committed to delivering high quality results under tight deadlines - Willingness to travel - Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion´s vision/mission **What you can expect**: - An agile, widely diverse international working environment with over 50 nationalities who are keenly interested in making a positive difference through their work and who share a collaborative, can-do spirit - A job that allows you to fully utilize and expand your skills within an innovative, hands-on company culture - A purpose-driven, performance-oriented company that rewards above-average results - An organization dedicated to providing effective training and upskilling to its employees **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
