Job Title Account Manager Airport Operations - Latam Job Title: Account Manager Principal - Latam Location: Colombia: Bogota About the Business Area/Department: Reporting to the Head of Latam AirOps, the Account Manager Principal - Latam is responsible for developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and preparing sales reports. Account Managers address client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. The AM will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including SDBM, Customer Service/Support, Airport Delivery Managers, and Product Development) to enhance the customer experience. The successful candidate will collaborate with the sales team to meet quotas and maintain long-term client engagement with our products and services. The Sales, AirOps Latam area promotes solutions and sells them to Airports and Airlines across Latin America and the Caribbean. It also manages existing customers, providing dedicated support and guidance. Summary of the role: Amadeus seeks talented individuals to help revolutionize travel experiences in Latin America through faster, safer, and frictionless airport processing solutions. In this role you’ll: Develop strong relationships with customers, connecting with key executives and stakeholders, and preparing sales reports. Answer client queries and identify new business opportunities, focusing on digital immigration control optimization. Liaise with internal teams to improve the overall customer experience. Collaborate with sales to achieve quotas and ensure client satisfaction and engagement. Develop new business in the Andean region, with potential expansion across Latam. Prospect airports and immigration authorities to promote Border Control and operational solutions. Drive growth in Border Control Solutions and promote the operational and passenger processing portfolio. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Assist in contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with internal procedures. Forecast and track account metrics using SalesForce. Ensure timely delivery of solutions based on customer needs, coordinating across regions. Maintain accurate records in SalesForce. Perform other duties as assigned. About the ideal candidate: University Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 5+ years in account management, presales, or sales. Experience with Salesforce. Previous experience with airlines and airports in the travel industry. Proven sales track record. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects. Experience with Border Control solutions and travel technology. Extensive experience in the travel industry and airport solutions. Knowledge of software technology and cloud computing relevant to airports and travel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Location: Bogota or Lima (preferred). Excellent communication and consultation skills. Fluent in English and Spanish. Willingness to travel (~30%).
