Involves all related parties to resolve cross-functional issues.PurposeTo be responsible for operational, day to day management of financial data to ensure financial controlEnsure control procedures are closely adhered to in line with global processes and standardsLiaise with key external and internal partners to find opportunities to drive business outcomesProvide ad-hoc reporting & decision support for the business units as requiredAccountabilitiesLead the RTR team, accountable for the accurate and fair accounting of the company operationsInterpret reports and data using a range of techniques and tools and communicates to business and financial colleagues, providing technical support and advice to business partnersContinuously monitor the respective P&L; and/or BS accounts for any inconsistenciesEnsure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are closely adhered to in line with global processes and standardsStrongly connect with FP&A; team to understand market driversIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, controls, compliance and adherence to global standards and procedures. Continuous Improvement AttitudeStrong business partner and CX attitude. Develop a good working relationship with key collaborators; market, FC, STC, STP and global teamsProvide accurate, thorough and timely analysis as needs are identified or requested.Additional Requirements:Take full ownership of Record-to-Report (RTR) activities from both business and technical standpointsLead the RTR team, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within established timelinesServe as the primary point of contact for the RTR team, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end journal entry process, including upstream and downstream impactsEnsure timely resolution of all open GLAT itemsMaintain strict compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsProactively identify and implement process and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency and improve stakeholder satisfactionEnsure the intercompany team operates all CARM and GAR controls effectively and on time, while identifying and mitigating potential risksFoster a culture of high engagement by training, coaching, and empowering team members, and supporting their skill developmentContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including standardization and simplification of processesCollaborate closely with Business Finance and other finance partners to ensure smooth and effective financial operationsQualifications / experiencePeople Management- Ability to make decisions, influence and drive others and work in a collaborative manner and find resolutions to potential conflict.- ability to simplify and explain complex issues to other colleagues, including senior management.- Ability to work in a continually changing environment with colleagues across multiple locations and cultures.Good people management and interpersonal skills.Operation ManagementGood understanding of the RTR & Treasury Framework, Risk and regulatory drivers of the businesses is preferred.Strong presentation skills, networking and communication skills (verbal and written)Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)Working knowledge in a proprietary tool such as SAP, Power BI is preferred.Other Work ExperienceHas deep understanding of the Treasury operations, accounting concepts, reconciliations, month close process, various Treasury & RTR functions in order to ensure integrational thinking across the teams.Be able to work in a deadline driven environment.Excellent time management and influencing skills.Excellent communication skills in EnglishExcellent business partnering and collaboratorleadership skillssAbility to communicate complex accounting ideas simply to a business audience and identify accounting implications of business issues.Superior analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of risk and controlsStrong organizational skills and ability to work independently and set own agendaPersonal ownership for issue resolutionCuriosity for business issuesQualifications & SkillsDegree educated in relevant finance / business, Professionally qualified like CA/ CMA/CPAFinancial Accounting / Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferredExperience in a Shared services environment is considered as an advantageComplex Stakeholder management & leadershipPerformance orientation and problem solvingOutstanding personal and virtual communication skillsTeam leadershipAbility to manage expectations both from team and stakeholdersManage and grow remote teamsWork experienceFinancial and Management Accounting, Controlling & Reporting processesAccounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.) experience is considered as an advantageInternal / external audit experience and/or SOXExperience with Shared services process activitiesImprovement in executionProject / change managementBusiness experience and understandingRisk assessmentImproved senior collaborator management and influencing skillsLanguage skillsEffective communication in English, SpanishPortuguese speaking is a plus to facilitate communication with MarketFlexible Working Statement:Flexibility is key to our success.
