We're seeking a driven, adaptable Survey Crew Chief who can follow directions and think independently. Grow your career and become a leader in the geospatial industry with us! Responsibilities This leadership role requires proactive initiative. You will work both independently and as part of a team to complete field missions. Complete diverse survey projects including ROW/Easement surveys, utility surveys, 3D scanning, horizontal and vertical control surveys, construction layout, topographic surveys, aerial ground control surveys, Boundary and ALTA surveys for residential, commercial, and government projects. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of field survey experience, with at least 5 years as a Party Chief or equivalent knowledge. Strong understanding of Survey and Mapping standards and specifications. Proficiency with data collectors, data collection techniques, coding, robotic instruments, total stations, and leveling. Knowledge of GPS control methods and techniques. Experience with boundary surveys and understanding of physical and possession evidence. Ability to learn or experience with 3D scanning. Survey-related coursework completed or enrolled in preferred. LSIT certification preferred. Self-starter with minimal supervision needed after receiving assignments. FAA 107 drone license preferred. Ability to work in inclement weather and willingness to travel. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; MVR will be checked. Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English for communication and instructions. Requires pre-employment drug screening and participation in ongoing random drug and alcohol testing.
