Job Description: Software Engineering - Simulation Location: BUR Software Engineering - Simulation Responsibilities - Design and build simulations, rendering features and synthetic data pipeline capabilities - Code using primarily C++ and Python - Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa - Conduct design and code reviews - Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources - Drive performance measurement, analysis, and optimization - Work with technical artists and infrastructure teams to debug performance issues across the stack Minimum Qualifications - 6+ years relevant experience building games or simulations in Unreal or other game engine - Experience with 3D computer vision or computer graphics - Experience improving stability through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes - Experienced in utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and providing detailed feedback and solutions - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Client and/or computer vision Top 3 must-have HARD skills: 6+ years relevant experience building games or simulations in Unreal or other game engine - Experience with 3D computer vision or computer graphics Synthetic Code using primarily C++ and Python selling points: will work on cutting edge projects. will be introduced to new cutting edge technology, and will be a apart of charting the course with how these projects shape the world Good to have skills: Story Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects: RL Team that work on synthetic data. Create video games to generate relative, real life data simulation Typical Day in the Role: Will work primarily in Unreal with other machine learning engineers to build simulations How will performance be measured: Meeting goals, quality of work, team participation Interview process: initial screening - 2nd round will be 2 45 minute interviews with team to cover technical questions Is role on site?
