We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Manager with a "can-do" attitude to assist our organization in hosting events that enhance our organization's image, improve client loyalty, and enhance our brand-to-client experience. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, design, production, promotion, overall coordination and profitability of an event, ensuring they are delivered smoothly and successfully. You will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our clients and guests. **Duties and Responsibilities** - Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, budget, and requirements. - Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. - Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the event are well-planned and executed. - Identify and select appropriate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships. - Coordinate with suppliers, caterers, decorators, audio-visual teams, and other vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and adherence to quality standards. - Develop event budgets and ensure effective financial management throughout the event planning process. - Monitor expenses, negotiate costs, and make adjustments as necessary to stay within budgetary constraints. - Oversee all logístical aspects of the event, including venue selection, transportation, accommodations, audio-visual requirements, seating arrangements, and equipment setup. - Ensure smooth execution of these logístical elements, troubleshooting any issues that may arise. - Build and lead a team of event staff, including event coordinators, volunteers, and other support personnel. - Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure effective communication among team members and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. - Work closely with the marketing team to develop event marketing strategies, including online and offline promotion, social media campaigns, press releases, and targeted advertising. - Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events and ensure all activities run smoothly, troubleshoot any problems, and make real-time decisions to maintain a high level of attendee satisfaction. - Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events, collect feedback from clients and attendees, and identify areas for improvement. - Generate reports summarizing event performance, including attendance figures, revenue, and participant feedback. **About you** - Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating successful event planning and execution. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members. - Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. - Tech savvy and proficienct in event management software and other relevant tools. - Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in event marketing is preferred. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules. - Real Estate Knowledge and General Knowledge of the Construction Sector is preferred but not required. - Fluent in written and spoken English. - Presentable and willing to travel as needed. **About the Company** Storylines Global Inc. is an all-inclusive, sustainable luxury residential cruise ship.
