This position is full-time, based in Manizales, Colombia, with an onsite requirement once the studio is established. Quality Assurance Tester Role You are familiar with game development through professional or independent work and understand the QA pipeline. You are eager to take on more responsibilities and larger projects, focusing on launching your career as a QA Tester. You are collaborative, open-minded, and receptive to feedback, capable of autonomous work. Responsibilities Execute test plans on pre-release software. Assess product functionality against design documents. Research and document software issues. Generate bug reports clearly and accurately. Collaborate with QA and developers to ensure quality. Provide feedback on features in development. Perform daily tests to ensure quality and stability. Verify fixes (bug regression). Maintain a project bug database. Assist with other duties to meet company objectives. Qualifications 2+ years' experience in QA or game development. Must be local to Irvine, CA, and authorized to work in the US. Preferred Skills Experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies. Proficiency with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work well independently and in teams. Passion for games and quality products. Familiarity with game engines, platforms, and devkits. Knowledge of Adobe/Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of the game development cycle. Pluses Experience on AAA titles. Embedded QA experience. Experience with external teams.
