Responsibilities - Develop a comprehensive security platform and associated processes to support: - Network and Host-based security - Applications and data security - Security monitoring & alerting - Access management - Verify that all firewalls, security devices, systems, databases, and applications are logging and alerting properly. - Research emerging security threats and develop techniques to identify these risks. - Demonstrate extensive experience and knowledge of IT security principles, techniques, and technologies to design, build, and configure secure solutions. - Craft clear and concise security solution documentation. - Develop threat models and methodologies using the MITRE ATT&CK; Framework to identify and mitigate security threats. - Train and mentor team members on security best practices. - Collaborate with Quality Systems & Infrastructure Management to ensure quality standards. - Partner with Development and Business Intelligence teams to implement layered security for new products and services. - Evaluate systems and processes to ensure alignment with industry-standard security methodologies. - Lead and implement a cloud security profile, including: - Service infrastructure and platform security planning requirements. - Integration with corporate Infrastructure Support System for enhanced security monitoring. - Maintenance and advisement on security patching requirements. - Oversight and sign-off on security profile readiness for all SaaS, Business Systems, Operational Support Systems, and Client Services Systems.
