Your Role: The sales engineer will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle across all verticals of customer types with Demos, POVs, answering RFPs and objection handling. In addition, the SE is expected to be a role model and a subject matter expert regarding the cloud. A mentor for other SE’s, customers, and channel partners. Become a Cloud Security, Compliance & Governance SME and advisor to some of the world’s largest organizations Meet with prospective clients to discover what their biggest cloud security challenges and highest priority business drivers are regarding their Multi & Hybrid-Cloud environments Partner closely with the regional sales teams to drive product awareness to their customers Map Tenable’s unique business value and differentiators to their challenges and business drivers Perform tailored solution demonstrations based on strong discovery questions and real intel Partner with like-minded peers across Tenable to build exceptionally strong teams and shared knowledge Influence product directions, make a difference, and be part of Tenable’s growth and leadership in the ever faster-moving world of cloud & network security Run and own the complete PoV Process Be a mentor for our customers and Channel Partners Participate and present in public events Provide feedback to Product Management Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies What You'll Need: 5 years + of industry pre-sales experience BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience Experience with cloud computing infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. Knowledge of Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other cloud automation tools Understanding how to craft a tailored demo vs. delivering a canned demo Engage with large clients to architect solutions that best meet needs including offering best practice recommendations, on-the-fly solution suggestions and relevant lines of questioning that may not have been prepared in advance of the conversation Skill and confidence in leading discussions from a deep technical level to the executive level A strong self-starter attitude and determination to win Solid teamwork skills, teamwork is everything at Tenable Solid Interpersonal “smarts” Willingness to travel where and when needed within your territory, typically around 25% on average What You'll Need (Certifications): AWS Certified Security Azure Security Engineering Certification Experienced in IaC DevOps workflow (DevSecOps preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
