As a Site Manager in ALEC Building, you will be responsible for overseeing all finishing aspects of construction projects including blockwork, POP work, plastering, painting, and carpentry, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards. Your Role - Develop and control site plans for finishing works, accurately calculating required human and material resources. - Create, implement, and enforce comprehensive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) plans on site. - Lead and motivate construction teams, ensuring clear communication and high performance. - Collaborate with the Commercial Team to monitor and control construction costs, addressing any anomalies. - Establish and maintain a robust quality management system and control plan for finishing works. - Liaise with clients, authorities, consultants, and stakeholders to provide timely project updates. - Interpret and apply technical drawings, tender documents, and contract requirements effectively. - Monitor productivity and progress, ensuring accurate measurement and recording of works. - Manage testing of technical components, interpreting results and implementing corrective actions. - Plan and prepare for upcoming contracts, including tender revision, scheduling, and site setup. What We’re Looking For - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (BEng, BTEC, ND) in Civil Construction or related field. - Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction, preferably in finishing works. - Strong leadership, planning, communication, and commercial acumen. - Proven ability to manage complex construction projects on time and within budget. - Sound knowledge of HSE standards and quality control procedures.
