This role is responsible for the proper recording, reconciliation, and analysis of revenue within the General Ledger, ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and external regulations. Your contributions will be key to maintaining accurate and reliable financial statements in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Record revenue transactions and related adjustments in compliance with accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS). Prepare journal entries and perform monthly reconciliations for revenue-related general ledger accounts. Analyze revenue trends and variances against budget, providing clear and insightful explanations. Participate actively in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Support internal and external audits by providing clear documentation and analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Billing, Accounts Receivable, FP&A, and IT to ensure data integrity. Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of revenue accounting processes. Ensure proper implementation of new accounting policies or ERP updates. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Preferred: Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA). Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting with a focus on revenue. Previous experience in the tech, healthcare, or financial services industries is a plus. Strong understanding of accounting principles, closing processes, and reconciliations. Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of GAAP or IFRS. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). Advanced Excel skills. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and spoken). Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and remote team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
