About this position The Office of Risk Management (RMG) at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is looking for a dynamic and innovative market risk/investment technology and analytics consultant who will help us enhance our workflow and improve our stress testing and investment portfolio analytics. What you’ll do Design book and product structure in Summit to facilitate stress testing and calculation of risk and portfolio analytics in collaboration with technology team. Configure curves and fixed income products and derivatives in Summit to support risk and portfolio reporting/analytics, including sensitivities, and design data flows. Test Summit output to assess accuracy. Review the Bank's current stress scenario design and suggest enhancements and calibration improvements as appropriate. Determine appropriate product bucketing and shocks for each. Build a dashboard to calculate stress scenario P&L and P&L as percentage of portfolio size; design and build other dashboards as necessary. Document development of new functionalities in Summit including the calibration and implementation of new stress scenarios; the process to configure new curves and products; reporting capabilities; and the optimization of risk metrics for the portfolio. Work with technology, front office, and risk teams to enhance the calculation of P&L and portfolio and risk analytics for instruments in the investment portfolio, including analytics for new products, such as ETFs and ABS. What you'll need Education: Strong quantitative background with minimum of master’s degree. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in finance, capital markets, risk management and/or portfolio management with exposure to stress testing and fixed income analytics. Languages: Proficiency in English. Requirements Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
