Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead to oversee our Vision & AI Team, driving innovation and excellence in the field of logistics. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in algorithm development, computer vision, machine learning, and Python, as well as proficiency in 3D camera calibration, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), MLOps, and architecture modeling. Spanish fluency is required, with English conversational skills also preferred. Responsibilities - Vision & AI Team Leadership: Serve as direct technical lead and mentor for the Vision & AI team, shaping the team's roadmap, technical direction, and decision-making structure. - Product-Critical System Ownership: Own the end-to-end implementation and evolution of dimensioning precision systems, shipping label recognition, AI models for field matching, correction, and suggestion, and other AI models. - Platform Stability & Performance: Drive improvements for field accuracy, system stability and throughput, degraded input handling, and root cause analysis and long-term remediation for recurring failures in precision pipelines. - Architecture & Integration: Lead design of modular, testable pipelines deployable across edge and cloud environments, collaborate with backend and WMS integration teams, and guide implementation of AI/ML-assisted features.
