About the Role: As a Category & Channel Development Manager, you will lead the development and growth of the category and channel by owning the strategic vision and designing the commercial growth plan for our brands within Traditional off-trade channels. This includes identifying trends that move the brand and category strategy one step ahead of customer, shopper, and consumer needs, as well as developing and persuasive delivery of the Channel Planning and MacroPlanner. Key Responsibilities: - Identify insights and Channel-Category trends to ensure efficient channel & Category development. - Develop and translate category growth drivers into 3Y-Channel Business Plan, ensuring integration with shopper development and RGM drivers. - Identify whitespace opportunities in terms of Diageo's brands input into category plans that drive future growth in the channel. - Build Channel-Salesforce facing stories to support brand initiatives through a category lens. - Develop and continuously update the 'Picture of Success' for channels, based on all Sales Drivers and sales ecosystems. - Prioritize and align the Picture of Success and its objectives with the Sales Effectiveness team to ensure they are reflected and prioritized in performance evaluation and reward systems. - Develop growth playbooks (PDE and execution guidelines) by channel and segment. - Define investment within Commercial Agreements based on key channel-category growth drivers in each customer. - Optimize return on investment for the channel, ensuring performance management (P&L; & return on investment). - Lead and align volume implications to feed the S&OP; process in consensus with BU teams. - Responsible for building the learning agenda with CP&A; and Shopper teams of Key Plans for the channel. - Define the correct segmentation of the channels in charge, both from a functional and potential perspective. About You: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering or related fields. - Demonstrated ability in Trade Marketing and Commercial Roles in Traditional Channels. - Strong understanding of distribution channels and go-to-market (GTM) strategies and models. - Experience in budget management and P&L; ownership and strategic planning. - Knowledge and management of Sales and Financial performance indicators. - Sophisticated proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
