Join our Payroll Team in Colombia as a Payroll Administrator and support our operations. Responsibilities Audit: Main activity of Payroll C, involving checking that the service provider performs well, acting as the communication channel between the company and stakeholders. Payment requests: Approve internal payments, ensuring all mandatory payments are processed by finance and managing ad hoc payment requests (e.g., terminations). Employee requests: Address employee inquiries related to payroll calculations, processing questions and tickets. Calculations: Perform payroll calculations such as bonuses and local benefits accruals not included in the payroll provider’s scope. Reporting: Maintain detailed, secure payroll data and generate reports at division and cost center levels. Additional Functions Handle ad hoc employee requests and emails Respond to external auditors' requests Authorize payments for local payroll taxes and benefits Calculate bonus scheme accruals Review and consolidate monthly payroll changes Prepare employee reports and ensure data accuracy Manage bill payments for food vouchers and health insurance Authorize social security contributions and tax payments Post payroll accounting entries Conduct payroll audits, including changes, social security calculations, taxes, and accruals Handle payroll cycle processes and per diem accruals Prepare REPS reporting and other compliance reports Manage terminations and related documentation Coordinate third-party payments such as bank loans and mortgages Generate total income and vacation reports Qualifications Experience Minimum 5 years processing payroll (no supervisory experience required) Preferred: TMF payroll experience and Workday HRIS familiarity Education High school diploma required; no university degree necessary Skills Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Experience with SAP and Concur Language Portuguese preferred What You Will Find at GEA Engaging professional challenges with opportunities for development and training in a global environment.
