As a Employee Experience Generalist Sr. Manager for Kin + Carta you will provide support and leadership to the global team of people who are primarily responsible for creating and administering employee experience policies and procedures; ensuring we remain compliant with employment regulations in the locations where we do business; assisting leaders with disciplinary matters; addressing escalated employee questions; facilitating training including new hire onboarding; managing immigration and global mobility, and assisting with the creation and implementation of the employee experience strategy. Policies & Procedures - Create new and update existing policies and procedures that align with our desire to balance people, planet, and profit in all things we do - Ensure that policies and procedures are appropriately implemented throughout the organization including operational changes and related employee change management Compliance - Monitor employment law and regulation changes in the locations where we do business - Ensure employment policies and procedures are updated and changes communicated as needed to ensure continued compliance - Ensure employment templates (offer letters, employment contracts, separation agreements, etc.) are updated as needed to ensure continued compliance - Engage with internal and external legal counsel as necessary Disciplinary Matters - Leads, facilitates, and improves the employee relations program and related functions - Communicates with employees regarding employee relations concerns; provides guidance and recommendations for resolution of issues. - Assists managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing company policies related to performance, discipline, and related topics. - Conducts exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management. Employee Escalations - Ensure that the EX Generalist team is resolving employee questions that are escalated from tier 1 support accurately and in a timely manner - Understand question trends and suggest ways to increase employee self-service Training Facilitation - Facilitate new hire orientation and other courses as needed Immigration & Global Mobility - Oversee the team that owns and manages the immigration and global mobility processes Strategy & Leadership - Assist with the creation and implementation of the employee experience strategy **Minimum Qualification**: **We want all new hires to succeed in their roles at Kin + Carta.
