Responsibilities - Design, implement, and optimize gameplay mechanics and features for Fortnite Islands using UEFN. - Develop and maintain custom tools and scripts to enhance the creation and iteration process within UEFN. - Collaborate with designers to implement gameplay features, ensuring they are fun, engaging, and performant. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to gameplay, performance, and scalability within Fortnite Islands. - Optimize game performance, focusing on load times, memory usage, and CPU/GPU utilization. - Work with the team to integrate new content and features into the Fortnite ecosystem, ensuring compatibility and stability. - Document and share best practices for UEFN within the team. Qualifications - Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Verse, Lua, Python, C#, etc. - 1+ years of professional experience within the game industry. - Familiarity with version control systems. - Solid understanding of game development workflows. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently.
