**Requisition Number**: AMER27698 **Employment Type**: Full-time **Location**: Bogota **Job Summary**: Works under direction of the IT PMO to manage and oversee all aspects of a technology projects of low to medium complexity to ensure completion on time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors, and contractual deliverables. Prepares reports for stakeholders regarding status of project. Collaboratively determines and develops approach to solutions with cross-functional team members. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. **Principal Duties and Responsibilities**: - Works under mínimal direction to plan, execute, and deliver projects according to deadlines and budget targets - Work with cross functional teams to define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle - Consistently applies the concepts of appropriate standard methodologies and best practices, and ensures compliance with PMO processes and the project management life cycle requirements - Work closely with PMO, portfolio manager(s), and individual project team members to steer projects toward achieving intended business results and successfully delivering project value - Formulates and/or define scope and objectives, and manage projects, solutions and/or processes of moderate to medium complexity. May include working with teams of non-employee resources. - Researches and validates innovative solutions (both external and internal), leveraging best practices for quality and process efficiencies. - Interfaces with suppliers and vendors as needed to evaluate software, hardware or services and makes recommendations. - Applies principles, concepts and practices of the IT Competency Model at the Senior Analyst level. - Provides direction to team members and/or external consultants. - Prepares reports, records progress and creates solutions to IT problems/issues. **Expected Areas of Competence**: - Possesses strong knowledge of technology. - Contributes to low/medium complex aspects of projects within the PMO function. - Ability to work with project team members in a collaborative fashion to achieve key milestones - Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Positive can do attitude - Willing and able to quickly learn new concepts **Education/Experience Requirements**: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required with at least 5+ years relative professional experience; OR - Bachelor’s with Master’s degree in business, IT or related field with at least 3+ years relative professional experience - 1-2 years’ experience managing and delivering IT, software development, or related projects. - Requirements gathering - Project plan development & execution - Project budget development and management - Project staffing and management. - Cross functional interaction i.e. IT team and functional business partners - stakeholder management - Experience with project management tools (examples of tools - not all inclusive) - Microsoft project - Smartsheets - Planview PPM Pro - Experience working within a defined Project Management Office (PMO) - Reporting/Communication - Adoption and adherence to PMO Governance - Delivery of defined artifacts - Status reporting - Budget management - Resource Management/Project Staffing - Project plan tasks development and execution - Vendor Management **Travel Requirements**: 5-10%
