Business Development Associate Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Development Associate to join our growth marketing team. This role will be responsible for taking full ownership of the Partnerships channel, one of our key offline customer acquisition drivers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to build relationships, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment. They will also have experience in business development, partnerships, marketing, or sales, and a proven track record of success in identifying and negotiating strategic collaborations with brands. Responsibilities: - Taking ownership of the partnerships channel and driving partner acquisition through creative outreach and brand engagement. - Coodinating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership campaigns. - Managing ongoing communication with partners and serving as the main point of contact, representing the company externally. - Tracking and analyzing campaign results, and recommending improvements to maximize ROI and customer acquisition impact. Requirements: - 2–4 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, marketing, or sales. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organizational and project management abilities. - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative, solve problems creatively, and work autonomously. - Passion for pets and an interest in working for a mission-driven brand in the pet wellness space. - Native or fluent English speaker required due to the U.S.-based partner market. - Ability to work with U.S. time zones; must have 80%+ overlap with EST business hours (9 AM–5 PM EST). - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field with strong academic performance.
