About Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure and applications. Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure solutions on AWS. You will also be tasked with managing container orchestration, ensuring monitoring and security best practices, and collaborating closely with development and operations teams to improve delivery speed and application reliability. You will guide clients on adopting Agile and DevOps methodologies while troubleshooting complex AWS infrastructure and deployment challenges. Staying current with evolving AWS services and DevOps trends will be essential to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS services and/or third-party tools. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and/or Terraform. - Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions. - Configure and oversee monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure visibility and performance of applications and infrastructure. - Collaborate closely with customer development and operations teams to optimize workflows, accelerate delivery, and improve application reliability. - Apply security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. - Advise clients on Agile methodologies and fostering DevOps culture. - Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and operational issues in AWS environments. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: - At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering roles in AWS environments. - Hands-on experience designing and implementing robust, automated CI/CD pipelines. - Strong expertise in AWS CloudFormation and/or Terraform. - Practical experience with Docker and at least one of the following: Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, AWS Fargate. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Deep knowledge of IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, and the AWS Code suite. - Experience with Amazon CloudWatch and preferably with ELK Stack or Prometheus/Grafana. - Solid understanding of VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, ELB/ALB/NLB, and Route 53. - Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows Server in cloud environments. Nice-to-Have The following skills are desirable but not required: - AWS Certifications. - Serverless Experience. - Configuration Management. - DevSecOps. - Databases on AWS. - Agile Methodologies. - Cost Optimization (FinOps). - Consulting Experience.
