The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing a suite of APIs that are used by millions of consumers daily, under the guidance and supervision of senior team members. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the full development process: design, development, testing, and deployment under direct supervision Maintain and enhance existing code, focusing on practical implementation Collaborate with team members to create and improve development documentation Produce unit-tested software that meets defined requirements with high quality Adhere to the software development lifecycle throughout the development process Work within an agile Scrum team, following all agile principles Engage with business units to clarify requirements and specifications Work collaboratively on some tasks and independently on others Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality product development 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience Strong understanding of development best practices and standards (e.g., design patterns, coding standards) Ability to learn new technologies and apply them to build applications Proficient in Git, including branching and version control Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a self-driven approach to learning Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience Experience with Python development Preferred Qualifications: Experience with REST API development Strong knowledge of SQL and database design Familiarity with high-volume API services, caching, distributed processing, replication, and performance profiling (dependent on team) About Telesign: Telesign connects and protects online experiences with sophisticated customer identity and engagement solutions.
