We are seeking a remote, full-time Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of data engineering experience to architect data pipelines (ETL/ELT), manage data warehouse, and write or optimize analytics SQL queries for our industry-leading U.S. client. Responsibilities Build, manage, and scale data pipelines from internal and external data sources Establish and maintain capabilities for monitoring pipelines and data integrity Implement best practices for data integration, security, performance, and management Deliver high-quality, architecturally sound, extensible code Participate in architecture, coding, and testing of developed systems Assess requirements as well as discuss and debate possible solutions QA test code and troubleshoot to find and fix bugs Required Experience Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written) 5+ years of professional experience working as a data engineer or similar role, with a track record of building the right data engineering solutions that scale, provide high availability, and require minimal maintenance 5+ years of experience in writing analytics SQL , managing data pipelines in Airflow & dbt (Python) for ELT/ETL 3+ years of AWS or other cloud platform experience Experience in Agile / Scrum Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a team Track record building professional, high-quality, and on-time software Desired Experience CI/CD experience with CircleCI, Jenkins, or similar technologies Writing efficient SQL queries for big-data databases, such as Snowflake Experience with container-based systems, such as Docker Experience with serverless computing, such as AWS Lambda Familiarity with microservices architectures and DevOps Proven delivery experience in a vibrant, dynamic startup environment Experience with e-commerce data or analytics applications Additional Information Enjoy a fun, fast-growing entrepreneurial company Be part of a highly collaborative learning culture, learn and grow together!
