CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD Summary: As a MechanicIII / Site Lead, you will be responsible for the performance andleadership of the maintenance operation of C-12 aircraft at thesite. Responsibilities: - Supervises employees and interfaces withgovernment representatives. - Direct, schedule, and monitor siteoperations, site personnel, and work efforts. - Must be able towork during the day shift, swing shift, night shift, and/or weekendshift as required. - Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenanceand aircraft modifications. - Annotates maintenance actions inaircraft records/forms and completes associated ManagementInformation System entries in a timely and accurate manner. -Ensures safety and quality compliance at the site. - Manages andplans logistics and resources at the site. - Accomplishesinspections including, but not limited to preflight, thru-flight,basic post-flight, and phase inspections. - Performs operationalchecks of all aircraft systems and maintains aircraft appearanceand cleanliness. - Performs all tasks associated with groundmovement of aircraft including operating all associated groundsupport equipment and using hand tools, special tools, and fixturesapplicable to aircraft. Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years ofrecent hands-on aircraft maintenance experience. - Minimum of 3years maintaining King Air/1900 Airliner series aircraft. - Minimumof at least one year experience as a site lead. - Must possess anFAA A&P; certificate. - High school diploma or an equivalent. -Must have the ability to read, write, and speak clearly andconcisely in English. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoDSecret security clearance and Passport. Note: US Citizenship isrequired to obtain the clearance. - Must be able to obtainclearance to assigned location including medical clearance andvisa. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Workingknowledge of aircraft hand tools, special tools, and test equipmentis required. - Must have a working knowledge of aircraft safetyrequirements and know how to operate portable firefightingequipment. - Work typically requires a comprehensive knowledge ofaircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures andreplacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheetmetal/structural modification and repair as well as the ability todetermine functionality of complex electrical systems. - Theability to read, interpret, and comprehend schematic diagrams,drawings, charts, and technical publications is required. -Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required. - Must be able to obtain a flight line driver’s license.
